It's funny watching the season finale a second time... knowing cersei knows what she's about to unleash... knowing it's tommen's last day, as he puts on the crown and looks out the window... knowing the anguish of the people at that trial matters naught, as they're all minutes from incineration. Cersei is straight crazy.

My lady friend got me to watch GOT's starting with the second season. Though it was another average time slot show (prime time). Was I wrong...of course. Best stuff on cable, TV or even most movies.

This Sundays show; classic, with it's directing, film editing and even background music during the revenge plot at the beginning. Exceptional acting and dialog..certainly. The week before that, both battle scenes were also great. Though the second one took the prize, as far as I'm concern. That surrounding battlefield tactic has been standard for thousand of years, and shot extremely well on the show. Great show to watch on a big screen TV and a matching sound bar.

Interesting how the actors seem to grow into their role, season after season. And what computer directed software can accomplish today.

It's 98 percent not wizards and dragons, just good old fashioned deceit revenge power plays, etc. same as Sopranos or the Wire. They could do the whole thing without wizards or dragons and it might even be better.
