I'm reading about it. Some people live 10+ years on dialysis if they started young and take excellent care of themselves, and much of it is genetic. Very sad and scary. My uncle passed away a year ago. I think he was on dialysis about 6 months. Swelled up very big, then got better for a few months, then had sudden heart complications. I was onstage in Key west when I got the news he had passed. Shitty. Text message at 1 am. I miss ya uncle rick. But yeah, people can bounce back from it and live long lives, but there isn't much room for error.

Old habits die hard, he will not change his ways. In other words he is a lost cause.

I'd give him 1.5-2 years on dialysis before he lands 6 feet under. These statements are not internet folklore, i have seen more than a few real life examples.

At least we can say he died trying ~~for his bitches~~.

You are right.

A friend of mine was already in trouble with his kidneys (due to narcotics), they just stop working every once and a while and even then he abused alcohol and haxixe.

And Derek if you think dialisis is a walk in the park, think again. My buddie had to remove his tyroid due to hipercalcemia and several other minor cirurgies due to unsteady blood filtration.
