I not too sure about handing control of a $750 million dollar NFL team to a cat with dread locks and a gangster bling grill.

Good point Tommy.

I see now we have a 165 pound 10th-grader squatting 405, haha.  He was "all legs" though, could probably only bench 315.

Last night my kid put up 265lbs at 130lbs and he's a freshmen. Quit thinking on bodybuilding terms. Real strength training is the COMPLETE opposite.

Post photos of your gym, or it didn't happen.

This year will be different!  My skins are going all the way baby!  Just watch!

Been hearing that every year for longer than I can remember now. Lucky to get 3rd place in the division.

If so then he should compete, he's on par with the USAPL record:

http://www.goheavy.net/records/viewrecordset.aspx?recordsetguid=47bfe7f2-cbd4-47f8-bf04-3d0eadca4a8a

Raw record for 15 year-olds in 132-lb class is 264.5 pounds.

Keep in mind strength training for football or endurance sports is very different than Powerlifting.  Its very different to put up 264 at a powerlifting meet with a pause or squatting ass deep.  And to put it up in an explosive movement, not factoring in any sort of pause just a power movement to mimic that of what you will be doing out on the football field as a lineman pushing other big mother fuckers around!

He's 14 (turns 15 in May) he also pulled a 305lb DL on the trap bar. He had a hard time getting to 130, he be ecstatic if he could get to 132. LOL.

Cousins should have started the year, RG was not ready. Not that the team was going to playoffs if they did manage to pull out the win tonight, but the refs just screwed Washington.

pierre garcon is just not as good as he used to be.  not as smart either.  Get that ball and get to the ground.  I saw a lot of that today - players going for strips, knowing their peers have been playing ball since July... and dudes are tired and breaking down.  You can't get that strip in week 2, but you can get it in weeks 12 or 14.

I hear that...that tenth of a second hesitation...just weariness, is the difference between a guy getting leverage on you or not.
