Happens more then you may think Earl.  There have even been more than a handful of 8 seeds beating 1 seeds (including 1 each of the past 2 seasons)  Pacers are a 3 seed, they are a good team.

I seem to remember a 67 win Mavericks team losing to the 8th seeded Golden State Warriors in the first round a few years ago.

Pacers have a lot of good components to their team. They have like 4 or 5 guys scroing in double figures. But what they lack is a closer, a la Kobe, Pierce, or Wade.

I was shocked by the 76ers winning in Boston. Man...I'm sure the Boston fans are so pissed about losing home court edge.

Dude...this is the absolute last year that this Celtics team will compete for a title. End of the line season with Garnett, Allen, and Pierce. They've had a great run.

I hope they can win this series because they can beat Miami, especially without Bosh.

It's been only three games but the Heat look to be in trouble.

I loved it when one of the Pacers bench players showed the choke sign after Lebron missed the free throw. If the Pacers go up 3-1, no way the Heat comes back.

OKC is just too good and can beat their opponents in so many different ways.

To have to go 41-42 from the free throw line in order to win a game by 3 points is crazy.

I'm not all that optimistic about my Lakers, but they have outplayed OKC in 2 out of 3 (should have won game 2). 

The Spurs are playing ridiculously well.  Seventeen in a row. 

I am eagerly awaiting the demise of The Frozen One.

Just about every media outlet in the country is fawning over lebrons performane and rightfully so, he had a great game. However, (and not to be THAT guy)  I have to say it, i've seen harder contested drives to the rim at my local park. Just something about seeing 2 and 3 defenders in the paint standing there while lebron dunks it, irritates me. It's not even about lebron, anybody really. This is supposed to be playoff basketball right?

You dont have to tackle him, but a hard foul just to send a message, like this shit ain't gonna be easy.

I agree, but this ain't the 80s.  Hard fouls will get a guy suspended.    

But I agree they shouldn't be letting guys just dunk all over them.
