Noticed today that for the first time in the history Russian forces traveled to train with Americans on American soil !!
would've thought this would have caused more talk... have it even been told in US ?? Interesting stuff and thought to share

"Reports last month swirled around supposed controversy over the visit. False reports claimed the drills would involve the Russians seizing CIA computers in Denver and taking over the city's airport."

In 'Fort Carson' apparently.
Small group of reportedly 20 guys from RF airborne troops.

Seems to be a trip to test American euipment... maybe for purchasing?

they're also having little boy and girl scouts take part in military training sessions to hostage sittuations and some of the trainers may be from UN or whatever... maby they are now teahcing them how it's going to be like to be orderred by foreign accent, I dunno.

I mean I saw that shit in youtube it was kind of wack... but then again it wasn't, just your typical pro globalism crap.

Yea.. sounded weird to me.
One would think despite the changed times, Americans still wouldn't let Russian soldiers in their military bases or use their communication equipment etc.

One explanation could be possible plans to deepen cooperation in Afghanistan after the withdrawal.
Or just as you said, globalism crap... goodwill show or something similar.

This happens all the time with other countries militaries, they come and cross train with us.
Its a 1st for Russia, but I think this is just another way for Obama to try and boast his foreign policy. - "I made friends with the Ruskies look at me" bullshit.
Just like telling the PM that he would have more flexibility to give him the secrets to our missile defense system. Its a fucking defense system, wtf.

Yeah, its normal.
From the look of the Soldiers on the left, theyre SOF Green Berets, so theyre probably cross-training in some sort of Special Operations, counter-terrorism, or some shit.
SOF units the world over get together with us and share strategies and tactics, better ways to do what theyre doing. Nothing special.

IMO this is cool in itself.
Strangely I was not trying bash anyone on this thread

These two have trained together previously in recent years, for example the annual "Vigilant eagle" plane hijack exercise involving fighters and awacs from both sides.
But never before directly on others soil.

I also know countries train with each other but no one can claim there wouldn't still be something 'special' when USA and Russia do it, given their somewhat tense past century.

there was a general point, not specific. I just notice that alot of the middle class whites in the usa blame obama for alot of shit that was wrong before he came in office. But I wouldnt expect a JARHEAD to get that point.
