Our dog, a bastard dog-of-Bordeaux, is old and I think she won't make 2013. Makes me sad, cause she's been terrific.
After a while, I want another dog.
Any suggestions about which breed....?

I've been thinking about something like that. I heard these kind of dogs have very few genetic diseases and stuff. How much do you think a pup will cost ??  |

German Shepherd no contest. Lol in my "hood" there are lots of pittbulls and american staffords. Generally accompanied by some insecure twink sporting a tanktop and 13 inch pythons. I guess if you aren't strong, you can still buy a strong dog to show other people you're a badass not to be messed with.  |

Get one of these bad boys. I don't see a ton of them. You got to have a strong personality they will test you a little bit. Once they know their place excellent dogs. Or Maybe a german shepard or some kind of working dog. Little dogs are useless and boring to me. They're more of a burden and don't really contribute anything. My roomate has this little dog it's more like a cat. You can't can't rough house or play fetch or anything.

I want a dog that looks like kick-ass, but listens to me 100%.....those are cool. My Bordeaux dog is like that, looks mean but is really nice to everybody (if I decide so.... ) |

I trained them to go in a litter box when they were babies....a life saver in January when its minus whatever.
They're fearless.....good watch dogs...of course they would get destroyed by most breeds but they won't back down.
I've had some danes in the past but big dogs cost a lot to feed and they dog holes you could fall into.

Go to the pound or adoption center close to home. You can find a GREAT dog there and you'll save a life.
