We were created around 6000 years ago, and didn't need to eat meat until we were thrown out of the garden of Eden by God for eating..............Frui t! (that's a carb by the way).

So all this Paleo diet crap, though interesting and quite tasty is a fantasy.

However, I do recommend a low carb, medium fat, high protein diet for 2012  ;D

Oh, that's right. Well, the paleo diet still wins out in this case because God clearly disapproved of our carb consumption.

Maybe the snake is a more of a phallic symbol...and the fruit is the 'fruit of passion'....

Don't forget prehistoric people ate roots, just as we do today, it was a large and very dependable portion of their diet, unlike proteïn (bad hunt, no meat).

There is nothing in or out other than kcal in and out... Thats whats plays the role in all kinds of diet, not what your eating...

you may be right...But I personally don't believe anything written about primitive man or even 3/4 of our own history dating back just a thousand years. To me, it only makes sense that we would start out as vegans and  our first real protein would come from insects. As we watched other animals kill each other, we would most likely eat the scraps until we honed our skills to eat animals.

I think the link I posted said that people were scavengers and ate scraps.

Also, the animals we ate back then were also fighting for survival and not the drugged, overfed, under exercised animals of today. The meat was a lot leaner and more sinewy.
