It is amazing how accepted the masculinization of women that bodybuilding has gradually promoted starting with the late 70s has become.

A lot of these fitness women, much less female bodybuilders, would have been considered disturbing just 30 years ago.

Bodybuilding fanatics are judging women on the standards that they, themselves, would want to look like(and even then--those guys want a look for themselves that is grotesque). Girls traditionally have never had veins in their delts, striated quads, peaked biceps......

Girls are actually a different sex than guys.

SHe trains to look like a BB.  same reason she does not touch her chest....etc.  She is a BB.  If she trained like a gymnast she would look completely different

In all this marketing, branding and image we are just being ourselves. THat is the easy part. We do not have to worry about keeping up the the image we have.  We just act like we act and that is our image.  Unfortunately a lot of people do not like it.

I read posts like yours, that actually post valid points and I reflect on them. It keeps me in-check.  I guess I am trying to say thank you.  I was coming across very cocky.  It was a result of me coming across defensive.
