Is this a Barbie and Ken accessoire?
^^
It's all heavy duty square-tube welded construction will hold a lot of weight- like it's been said before PLENTY for most guys here.
For the dudes 250lb+ there is THIS:

For home, working out alone, I'd only buy some combined equipment with a smith machine. For security reasons.

that's why a power rack has pin settings... You place the bar pins right above your chest in case you get stuck. Now that you know this, no excuse to use the pussy ass smith machine anymore...

I believe this. The few guys I know who have home gyms don't use them regularly.  90% of the time it is a nice idea that fizzles.  If they still train they do it at a member gym.  I'm beginning to think this is true for home cardio machines too.
i definitly use my stationary bike almost everyday because i hate doing cardio at the gym, however i think people may use there weights less due to the fact you have to re-rack everything when your tired. i know thats my biggest downfall of working out at home is putting everything back in order so my apartment does not look a mess.

Looks better, but I would never consider to buy typical home equipment again. Yes, it could be versatile/flexible, cheap and as a bonus, you don't need to drive to the gym. But most commercial stuff is in another league and I'm so much more motivated/focused to work hard in the gym.

sorry to be predictable, but it just doesn't get any better. throw in a heavybag and a concept2 rower and your all set  8)

Exactly what I have except a different brand. I also have olympic db handles and a zillion 5kg plates and I can make up to 60kg db's then. Also EZ Curl bar which is not necessary but nice. Oh yeah, the cage I have also has dip bars which is a nice plus.

I train solely at home and have a good deal of equipment.

I have Squat Rack, Bench Press, Incline Bench and a Free Standing Bench for Dumbbells. 600 lbs free weights,  Olympic Bar, EZ Curl Bar, Triceps Bar, Another EZ- Curl bar with wide grip attachment, Dumbbells that go from 10 to 150. I also have a Pull Up Bar and Dip Station.  There is nothing else I really need.  I could easily have cables as all you need to do is buy two large pulleys and aircraft cable from Lowes, but I really don`t need them and have not bothered with it.  This is more than enough.

Do you think that you will admit, one day, that you are a sociopath ?

all interventions of True Adonis are valuable and pertinent except the calorie concept.

Nothing tangible, just some indices over the last years.
I surely wrong, I don't know you

-exacerbated local nationalism
-devotion to it's State (visibly, the most authentic of the US)
-devotion to it's founder fathers and their values and aphorisms
-living alone in a big empty house in a little "authentic" community
-walking around with guns
-prepared to an hypothetical end of the world or stranger invasion
-constantly observe abnormal human behavior in its community
-recluse in reading phylosophical, historic book linked to the preservation of the individuality
-pathological self preservation, everything is too marked (same everyday routine, same philosophical straitjacket) and definitive sentence,
-autarkic.

maybe you need to travel and encounter people from south America, Europe and Asian continent, to let go, move off the state and its heavy legacy, redefine sense of your own freedom, build a mixed family in a big and distant city (Vancouver, Montreal Tokyo, Sydney, Seattle..).. For an atheist, you have built some dogmas that drive you, ironically, in a "religious" way.

I have a junk home gym with maybe 1,300 pounds of weights a legpress, hack squat, cheap squat rack, flat bench ,real steep old style incline and dumbells I put togther for well less then a 1000. It looks pretty rough but is good. Chin ups are a life saver in home gyms. excuse me if this is illitrate I think I took 11 x pills the last 35 hours.

To tell the truth, i have never understood the motivation to participate in activities like this, by the time you save up your pennies, buy the ridiculously expensive equipment, learn what your doing, drag all that gear up a cliff, drag it all back down again, fight the elements, spend a shitload of money, get sun burned and lose your wallet all to drive home and realise you left something back at the cliff.  No, hobbies like that make me tired, you could achieve a similar chemical reaction in your body jumping on a trampoline.  Sports like that are for wankers and showponies!

::)

Seriously, Cannondale is an excellent bike and Bay approved!  8)
But why "hopefully"?  What would stop you from getting it if that is what you want?  I feel guilty admitting this: I have bought two Treks in the last three years, but never ride because it is too hilly around here!  :-[

Can't you get a decent cardio workout with a Huffy?  Why pay 2,500 for a bike?

my buddy is a really good welder and built most of his home gym, like you said about lookin alittle rough,  my buddys basement home gym looks pretty rough also. but the stuff works great and is super strong and has held up now for 30+ years. when he welded those peices he made sure they would never fail

Own one and you will know.  http://www.cannondale.com/bikes

If you were were raised on a Huffy, and you're happy with it, you should probably stick with it, but obviously, there is a reason people (serious & recreational riders) trade up to better equipment when they are in a position to do so.

You don't have to know anything of bikes; you make similar decisions every day. We all do.  Would you buy a Toyota if you could afford an MB CL Class?  Both will get you from point A to B.  Would you buy a shirt from the Sears if you could afford a similar shirt from Nordstrom?  How about a burger from McDonalds vs. one from your local steakhouse of choice?  It's not always about the label; sometimes goods are more expensive because they really are better.

Remember this thread on the $800 pillow?  Yes, it is that good! ;)
