I want to take their little gadget out of their hands and smash it into their face.

Also, most of these pieces of junk are willingly built to last only 1 to 2 years so you re forced to buy the next  model. Internal components are weak and you cant even repair them yourself anymore, because it's been built precisely not to be repaired. Again, this trend is absolutely catastrophic. Short sighted view of the world. Bad use of everything we can access because people lack the most basic common sense.

To think people who buy that shit are the same who pretend to be "eco friendly" socialists/liberals. The same whose parents were hippies in the 60s. How ironic.

Looks like there are two versions of this tablet. Both have a 10.6 inch screen. Unfortunately it is 6X9 for video. I  prefer 3X4 for viewing photos.

You can attach SD cards and on the bigger Windows tablet you can have up to 128 more Gb. Capacity is up to 128 in the body. So you can carry much more info

than the iPads. The best thing are the ports. USB 2 for the thinner one and USB3 for the thicker one. That wins me over. Plus the keyboard. Well done, Microsoft.

Not sure about the resolution of the screen but they claim HD so it must be 1900 X 1080 or so.

IPads suck re accessing information and uploading files. I hate iTunes. Apple will lose sales when others have tablets that are easier to download to and modify files.

yes sometimes i cant load in my downloaded music files in the itunes, and on apple tv when i visit youtube it is censoring out a lot of music videos which are probably illegal in apple's eyes.

I had one for about 10 days before taking it back and getting a Samsung Galaxy Nexus...I loved the big screen on the note..However, the large size made it a major league pain in the arse to carry around..However, the nexus is just perfect IMo...

1080p screens are usually classified as FHD.

I hate apple but we should appreciate their innovation. It forces other companies to step up. Hopefully with apples new high resolution notebook screens, companies will start to phase out those pathetic 720p displays.

Yeah, that's the only thing that's putting me off - I was having a bit of a mess around with it in the shop the other day and I liked it but I'm not sure it's ideal for transporting about. The SII looks fairly decent as well and is a bit smaller.

I think you're confusing innovative with inventive.

It's simple, apple introduces a high 2500x1600 res IPS screen on a laptop, The tech isn't ground-breaking, but more expensive to produce. In turn other company's are eventually forced to compete and introduce their own high res models, eventually making these fancy features cheaper for us. Don't expect apple to price theirs competitively.

I got one from HP for $99.  It doesn't look like the photo, is heavy as shit and lame OS.  I have an ipad as well and use that all the time.
