In St. Louis it is Toasted Ravioli, Thin Cracker Crust pizza with Provel cheese,  and I think Pork Steaks.

Oh and Budweiser if you consider that food.

It's the same as a dry cottage cheese...

Not even close.  It's the curd from cheese making - usually chedder.  They're very mild and when they're FRESH, they squeek when you eat them.

Yes! We have a good local cheese factory and the fresh curds do indeed squeak.    :)

Ironically in SoCal it used to be mexican but over the last few years it is burgers.  A million fucking burger joints opening up everywhere.

I try not to eat them many times but when I do we go to Edwards Drive In. They were on Man VS Food. Unbelievable.
