Here`s a tip to feel them more in your rear delts.

Instead of just pulling the weight into your face area, concentrate on pushing the elbows back instead.

For your first time trying it,have a training partner place his hands on the back of your elbows and imaging that they are like pads on a machine that you have to push back...........after a while you`ll be fine on your own, and I guarantee your rear delts will pump like never before.

Why not use some standard old cable "rope" with ends? Or even better, some nylon rubber grips or handles?

Oh that is right, you wouldn't be unique and be able to sell MPF  worthless advice if you did what everyone else did???

I see what you did there....

Grip strength.

A rope and/or nylon rubber grips does not accomplish this? Really? Any proof besides broscience?

You mean besides having the commonsense to know if the stops at the ends of the ropes give some.relief to the grip? Do you really need a case study for that? Lol

Please explain why a rope pull is not as efficient? I am serious. Please, post proof. I understand your previous explanation, but gripping the rope (without using rubber ends as part of the grip) you're telling me I can't get the same effect?
Broscience at it's best.
Gotta make a buck.

He wants to make it harder to grip,  ala odd grip training. A standard rope handle, etc..... is still a relatively standard easy to grip shape.

What's harder to grip when pulling weights from, a rope, nylon rubber grips or the ends of a towel?

A towel.

Don't believe me, do towel pull-ups and see how your wrists & forearms feel after a set of 10 reps.

The traction you have when using a rope or rubber grips is not present when you use a towel.
