HCG questions for the VETS

Here is a question for the vets too...

I had a vasectomy in 2005 after my x-wife and I tried for a 2nd child for 3 years after the birth of our son. Needless to say my son was born at 30 weeks and is a miracle himself. Since my x-wife had 3 misscarriages in a 3 year period I decided to just get snipped. My question is that is HCG really even needed in my situation?   I am hearing and reading different things, BUT since I am 37 and plan on having no more children with my fiance (who is 43 and has 2 girls) should I even worry about using HCG on a PCT?
