Im not one too judge people and how they live thier lives, what they put in their bodies, etc.............BUT BENZOS are only for people who have ANXIETY DISORDERS, im not even prescribed benzos and i have 4 differant anxiety disorders. Benzos and SSRIs can both be used to treat ANXIETY DISORDERS, however SSRIs work MUCH BETTER for treating anxiety disorders.

If you do not have Mental illness' then YES you are correct. Ive been on TRAZODONE which can be used as a sleep aid for 7 years.

Correct.
Oxycontin and Heroin are almost the same drug.

In fact, many states are having a serious problem with Oxy users switching to Heroin because its the same drug, only much cheaper.

took Xanax once... and stole a bunch of shit and didn't realize what i did until the next morning... felt horrible.. friends thought it was funny... assholes.

I used it for anxiety/insomnia last year....

did some research and told the doctor no more benzo's..

stay away from benzos...check out some youtube horror stories, then read how long it takes to taper off of a benzo habit...NOT WORTH IT!

I've used it for anxiety, and it works really well. But, getting back in the gym after a long layoff did much more for anxiety than those pills ever did. Guys have a lot of energy, burn that shit off in the gym. The build up of (can't remember the exact term, lol) stress hormones needs to be taken care of.

I will use it occasionally before a big broadcast/tv appearance, just because you can't appear nervous in my line of work, but i use it twice a year, at most.

Like IRONGRIP I hate flying due to a number of-flight mishaps and a friend gave me a Xanax tab that could be 'broken" into 4 small pieces with advice to only take 1/4 of the tab before hopping on a 6 hour flight.I never took anything stronger than a Bayer aspirin so I was dumb and forgot and downed the whole pill with my second Bloody Mary and got on the plane and was sound asleep before takeoff.

Six hours later two stews had to shake me awake and help me to the baggage claim area where I met my brother in law who said I looked tired after that long flight and took me to a Mexican resturant that served the finest Margaritas north of Mexico.

I was told I had more than one and fell asleep again on the way to the house and woke up about 24 hours latter and could not recall anything after I boarded my flight.

Something similar happened while we were invited to a Poker Tournament in LV years ago when everyone fell asleep on the return flight and slept another whole day once back home.

Most of us felt that we had been drugged

I used Benzo's in some form every single day for about 10 years....I finally was able to quit after tapering for about 6 months..

Life is so much better without that stuff.

Alcohol withdrawal depends heavily on your vit B status. May give an acute Wernicke.
Heroin detox is only life treathening when you got a weak heart or so

GHB withdrawel is nasty too; comparable with alcohol, but with a lot more chance for paranoid delusions, usually very agressive. This drug sucks.

xanax r bad news as far as trying to come off them, trust me when i tell ya. been on them since 2008 everyday to help me sleep and keep my stress down. im starting on kolonipin soon to help me taper off the shit. kolonopin is a more mellow form of benzo that helps a person come off the more fast acting xanax, dont take them unless u absolutely have no other choice

I took 1/2 a xanax (not sure of the dosage) before getting into a small plane w/a student pilot and his instructor. It didn't affect me at all so I took the other 1/2. Didn't help.
