Stimulate in some fashion and then let the genetics, food and drugs do the rest.

I don't think he enjoys taking the massive amount of drugs, especialy since after getting rid of Oscar, Farah was shocked at Kai's bloodwork.
I don't think most of the guys "enjoy" taking all that stuff, they do what they must.
As far as the lifting, if comparing Ronnie, Kev's or Shawn's training vids, the having the hand on the bar from the 1st rep is not done---of course these are guys known for their chests.
The only thing that Kai has in common is rep range (with Ronnie), Ronnie sometimes didn't push the weight all the way up to the top, therefore keeping tension on the chest, and not resting at the top.
