Jay smoked Ronnie and won the entire prejudging which is the whole contest. the night show has always been for the fans and it never decided a contest until this one.

99 times out of a 100 Ronnie smokes Jay but not this time and he knew it.

Jay won BOTH the symmetry & muscularity rounds up in essence the entire contest because that's where the show was always won and the night show was for the fans only.

Ronnie had Jay clearly from the back, and as we all know - it is the back that wins the Mr Olympia...

One thing I always wondered though, was that if Jay had competed in 02 instead of waiting untill 03 - I think he actually could of beat him. Coleman was not particular good in 02, but in 03 he brought his best physique on display ever, making it impossible for Jay to win.

Jay threw away the year he probably had the best chance to defeat Ronnie. That must suck.

No not how it works , and Ronnie wasn't better than Jay at all in the symmetry or muscularity rounds which is why he lost , that includes the front-back-sides

Jay decided to do the Arnold in 2002 and should have competed at the Olympia because once again Ronnie was off and Kev beat him in the posing rounds yet unlike Ronnie in 2001 he didn't win the contest

Im sure an official got wind of this and the idea of having Jay win, then having to strip his title away would have made the IFBB look bad.
