Damn, I'm getting ready to sit down and watch this for the 63rd time.

As a guy who can appreciate Dwight Yoakam's talent as a performer it's pretty funny to watch him bounce around on the porch like some hacky redneck. You know he got a kick out of doing that scene.

haha, I remember hearing on the DVD commentary how him and the band actually had a hard time making their music sound shitty and amateur in the movie.

I don't know If you caught it on the DVD commentary but they originally kicked around the idea of Doyle pushing the crippled guy in the wheelchair thru the screen door and off the porch in that scene. Talk about a missed epic opportunity!! 8)
