He is not a real fighter. He lacks killer instinct. He is just a good athlete doing combat sports.
A guy stands in front of him and waives his arms in an unusual manner, and he gets completely paralyzed. Not a single take-down attempt. No attacks in the first round. His only meainingful attempt, he rushes forward trying to close the distance without any kind of defence.
Strange.....All-American Div 1 wrestler and he only attempted one takedown? I'm not an 83rd Degree Black Belt like the rest of you Getbiggers, but it sure didn't seem like Bader had a good fight plan. He had Machida in a clench and never made any effort to put him up against the cage, or on the mat. I know Machida is no slouch, but damn....he made Bader look silly.
