As Aunt Esther would say, "Watch it sucka!" since these babies carry 200 calories in this power packed handful! (*along with 5g of protein, 4g of carbs, 2g of fiber and 20g of fat)

But there are many good things to go along with the caloric jolt- 14g iof polyunsaturated fats,  Walnust have been shown to improve blood vessel elasticity and prevent plaque accumulation as well as lowering LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and the C-Reactive Protein (believed to be a marker/predictor of heart disease.)

Work these into your diet at all costs.  I alternate between almonds and walnuts during the week.
