Fuck him and the mom and that kids feelings.   She's whining over some bullshit knowing that her fat ass son could seriously hurt a smaller kid out there.  She's doing this to try to sue or something.  Its called the pee wee league and he ain't pee wee....he needs to take his ass to the middle school league

I tend to agree.

I tend to agree.

both of you guys are nuts..

so whats next ? if your under 8% BF you cant play football? teh philosophy being that if your 135lb at 8% bodyfat then you MUST be muscular and hitting the gym, therefore you can seriously harm someone ?

what a fucking load of bullshit

what people fail to realize is that the kid not only is big boned, he is also 6ft fucking 2 ... he's not some overly obese kid with triple chin and three layers of belly rolls, he looks like a defensive end type of body

thats what sports are about, its about using your gentic and diet...

again, whats next ? some 7th grader whos 80lbs and runs lightening fast, you guys gonna criticise the mom for not feeding him and therefore its not fair because he is so fast cuz he's 40lbs lighter than what the school says is the limit?

thats BS...

and you guys are missing the fact that he's 6'2, the mom overfeeding him doesnt cause the kid to get taller ( evidence by alot of fat short kids)

MESQUITE, Texas — A suburban Dallas boy has been barred from playing peewee football because the league says he is just too big at nearly 300 pounds.

Mesquite Pee Wee Football Association President Ronnie Henderson said the rules are clear and 12-year-old Elijah Earnheart is not eligible. The 6-foot-1-inch boy exceeds the 135-pound limit for seventh-graders, and he got the bad news last Sunday when the league held its official weigh-in.
So, the rules were clear to everyone from the get-go. This is an outrage.    ::)

If he wants to be a pro he should play the big boys... simple. that's what they do for hockey with all the stars when they are young. kids playing and beating grown men... then later when they are older they are better.

Hes' no 297.. maybe 197 - 230 based on those images. 297please... One guy i played with was 290, 6'1" at 20 years old and was a proportioned monster.

eithe way.. he's too big and goofy to be playing yet anyways. he'll be the one getting hurt before anyone else.

You can't compare a 12 year old at 297 a 20 year old at 297. It's two totally different worlds.

they apparently don's show a full pic of him--he's conviently either sitting down, or they cut off the pic....he's 297, look at the chin, the calves and the arms.

Football is a lot diff than hockey...chances are that kid hasn't even really learned how to play yet, and you want to stick him in "with the big boys"? Please, baby Huey would start crying

they invited him to play with the high schoolers.  Mom said NO becuase he didnt know any of the kids.

Sorry, but a 300 pound kid will KILL an 80 or 100 pound kid.  Can't let him play, no way.

If he lived in some Podunk small town he'd probably already be on the varsity.
