Why?  Being jacked should be a requirement for a soldier.  I'm sure the military has secret programs to try and build the ultimate soldier.  Dave Henry is what they would look like.

Naw. These people can't run a mile. They are out of breath walking up stairs. And they're type II diabetics. Sure they might look intimidating in a uniform if you're no taller then 5'6. But once the enemy knows the gig is up and these people are a walking mess, their in trouble.

The ultimate soldier would look more like a tri-athlete who could run 100 miles if need be. These bodybuilders are turds in a punch bowl.

Disagee, why do soldiers have to run?  Can't outrun bullets,  We have Humvees and helicopters if they have to go long distances..  They might have to carry heavy things which is what bodybuilders can do.  If they are in contest mode then they have done tons of cardio.  Being short makes you closer to the ground and less likely to get shot.
