I would like a christian who believes abortion from rape is wrong, to explain to me why they feel this way. Why is it ok for the woman who suffered the unspeakable trauma of rape, to have to bring the fetus to term and birth it and raise it. How does removing the woman's choice help her heal? After all, isn't the real insult of rape the very fact that a woman's choice of whom to share herself with, was removed forceably and against her consent in a most personal and violent fashion?

So not only does the man violate her body against her consent, but the state tags along and removes consent to do with her body as she sees fit as a specific result of the trauma, again. How does that help healing? Would such a society not breed marginalization of women, and in turn, breed hatred and fear of men amongst women? After all, if women are seen as vessels for birthing children and have no control over who they birth, from whom, and when, how else should one view a woman but as a vessel for birthing children? Would she not then be a machine of the state and of men? Should we next outlaw birth control, since, after all, she's killing a man's chance to pass along his genetics at his choosing, whether he decides to rape the woman or not. That's not fair to men, is it?
