Collapsed while training in the gym, died at the hospital, 31 years old.First time Ive lost somebody I felt close to.I feel like shit, made even worse we hadnt spoke for just over a year over some bs.

The first time you know someone near your age who dies of natural causes as opposed to accident is the worst...was he doing cardio?...always use a monitor and keep the rate within realistic bounds.

I am so sorry for your loss. It will be a huge shock for you, especially since your friend passed so suddenly and you weren't expecting it. Just think of the good times you shared together and try not to think about the fact that you hadn't spoken for over a year. Hugs

yeah it sucks, i came in to the office one morning not expecting anything, everybody has a down face and I ask making a joke... who died?

And it was one of my good work buddies who actually died - same night when I was happily sitting infront of the TV wife snuggled up he had a massive heart attack and died on the spot, young wife with one kid and one on the way found him next morning.

Fucking heart breaking.

My friend died after a car hit him, like 4years ago.. He was 18 then.. Still get tears in my eyes when I remember him.. This shit sucks..

Sorry too hear that Bud and i know the feeling, way back in the early 1990s a close friend just 17YEARS OLD done a Cardio session after Training to burn a few more Calories for a Contest...Dropped dead on the floor (had a Heart condition nobody knew about) we had just left the gym, he said he wanted to do a Cardio session and he'd catch up tomorrow...phone call 2 hrs later....couldn't believe it

Man 31 that's way to young, our condolences. When you find out can you let us know the cause. Many of us are that age and want to know what we can do to prevent such a premature death.
