Haha!Off to bed Sir Johnny of Falcon! 2:30am here
Literally just seen this now.At the minute I am doing 5x5 standing BB press then possibly 1 drop set with about 225lbs for a pump and fun. I am working to a new PB standing press. Then I do 4x sets of seated DB press. Between 10-15 reps. I am progressing to 4x15 before I will try the new heavy dumbbells in my gym, or perhaps duct tape small weights onto them. I started 3x10, next day 1x11 3x10. Next day 2x11 1x10, next day 3x11 etc well that is the plan. Then I do one drop set for about 15-20 reps.I genuinely believe that standing press is the reason my delts are big and strong - DBs help also and I get the best of both worlds. I dropped side laterals etc out due to time, often i train on my lunch and i didn't think they were doing much for me. I did used to do them for years though!I also believe smart progression incremental (be it weight or reps) in very small but continuous progressions is key to getting bigger and/or stronger. I do not know what I can press but I suspect I could get up about 310-315lbs now with reasonable form for one rep.Anymore questions I am glad to help
