Not sure if it counts as a concert, but the Woodstock anniversary show. When Metallica came on and the fuckers burnt the place down. Luckily I was in the VIP tent.

I bat lefty. It was 15 swings from a pitching machine, with no rest in between pitches. It was over before I knew it. One hopped the 380 for a ground rule double, and put one into the middle of the triangle. The rest were a few pulled fouls, singles, grounders, and maybe 2-3 wiffs. I was swinging out of my shorts.

Played about 4 games of softball there too. Those were amazing, except they used the pitching machine again, with two pitches max. Any foul, etc was an out. The thing did not throw very many strikes. Best hit was a one hop ground rule double that missed the Pesky Pole by a few feet. With regular pitching and the bats I use today, I could hit a couple out if given 10 or so swings.

The inner parts of that park are a complete shit hole.

Rob, I saw Fates, at a tiny club in Boston waaay back when "Night on Brocken" came out (1985) 1st row in front of John Arch.. They were unreal.
Rush, I saw many times, I'm going to their tour opening show tomorrow in Manchester, NH. (Free parking at my bud Ted Arcidi's place).
Never saw Accept, wish I had.. Huge fan from back in the day...

My favorite was 1983 - Molly Hatchet and The Outlaws, outside in Kingston New Hampshire fairgrounds.
Salem MA Hells Angels were everywhere partying it up..

Damn, I'm getting old..

It was cool. Ticket was $8. I went to 2 others as well one in 1994. That was the best actually because it was just 4 people in the band and no horn section. It was stripped down and very guitar heavy.
