Meshuggah (monolithic)
Accept ("Balls to the Wall" tour)
Brighton Rock (local Southern Ontario 80s pop metal group)
Annihilator (Ottawa rehearsal)
Fates Warning (smoked Dream Theater, for whom they were opening, in every way; total class)
Rush (VERY pro, always)
Decapitated (the almost-classic lineup)
Saga (a free gig at the now-gone Sam the Record Man flagship store in downtown Toronto)
Rob, I saw Fates, at a tiny club in Boston waaay back when "Night on Brocken" came out (1985) 1st row in front of John Arch.. They were unreal.
Rush, I saw many times, I'm going to their tour opening show tomorrow in Manchester, NH. (Free parking at my bud Ted Arcidi's place).
Never saw Accept, wish I had.. Huge fan from back in the day...
My favorite was 1983 - Molly Hatchet and The Outlaws, outside in Kingston New Hampshire fairgrounds.
Salem MA Hells Angels were everywhere partying it up..
Damn, I'm getting old..
