Seems like there are two classes of people here on Getbig........those living behind barricaded walls with security at the gates and manicured trees and lawns judging lesser men from their ivory towers......and us jaded, cynical assholes who swim with the filth.  Remember that Miami Vice song....You Belong to the City by Glenn Frey?  It's a little like that.  Knocking on doors at one in the morning in bad neighborhoods......I could've just bought a damn farm in north Florida and raised pigs and grow papayas.  But...once you're in the shit...you stay in the shit.

new yorkers aren't nearly as bad as they are made out to be, i lived in mahattan for close to a year (mid-town east) and the sterotypes aren't really true, except for a select few

once as i was walking past the U.N. building on my way to work, a 60 some year old dude out walking his dog nearly came to blows with another 60 some year old dude that was driving his ride a bit aggressively

the dude in the car kinda sped up as the fella with the dog was crossing the street and he blasted his horn at him like a complete dickhead, so the dude with the dog shouted some shit at him and he stopped his car and they exchanged words and i thought that they were gonna come to blows, but it didn't happen
