You'd be hard-pressed to not eat GM foods of any variety presently. Without GM crops, the world hunger problem would be much worse but in contrast, at least we'd know what we are eating. Less than 1% of Americans produce enough food to feed the US and export much more because of these GM crops; whether they are good for you long term is debatable
'Round up ready' (RR for short) cultivars are modified gene crops so you can broadcast spray the chemical round up (broad spectrum herbicide) on them to kill the weeds but it doesn't affect the crop. RR crops are the most identifiable GM crops but there's thousands more.
