Coleman with his barrel torso, toothpick arms and non-existant delts; Flex was superior to him in every way.

Probably because Ronnie didn't look anything like that when he beat Flex. Thats 05 Ronnie, not 98-99 Ronnie.

I have wondered about this myself as well. Flex should have always won, against everyone. Best shape ever. Even his Synthol-arms looked good.

bc flex never looked like this Ronnie looked better with a tanktop hiding his massive midsection. He should never have won anything with his preggo-look

Ronnie looked better with a tanktop hiding his massive midsection. He should never have won anything with his preggo-look Or flex with his obvious oil filled parts

If shape was the only criteria then beyeke, curry, Rhoden, Cedric, should have all won.... But they won't

Or overly developed muscles from steroids Muscles are muscles at the end of the day. flexes oil in my eyes is equivilent to getting calf implants.

That's easy, Flex was a midget in comparison to Ronnie. It's like comparing a boy to a man. And while were offering up overtly biased comparisons, how about this one.

There is not a single pose where Flex looks superior than Ronnie...specially during 98-2000 years.
Flex is not even in the all time top 5.
Ronnie is the best of all time .

I've always thought Flex looked great in 1999. If I recall Flex was over 240+ lbs at the O which was huge increase in weight in one year. Flex could hold his own against Ronnie in certain poses but Big Ron was just way too much. When they hit rear lat spread everyone could see who's the champ.

Agree that synthol is ridiculous. Every step from a natural physique is less real bodybuilding in my eyes.
The only thing more fake that synthol i can think of is putting on a rubber suit and pretending it's muscles

They are both overrated. They both have clear structural problems. Going on judging criteria Ronnie had Flex every time.

Because Ronnie looked STRONG, like a Mr O should. Flex looked like an assembled piece of blown-up individual bodyparts. Flex should never have placed in a Mr O posedown.
So says Dr Dutch

Ronnies arms were way too small for his torso, especially in later years. Ask any expert.
