I train three times a week, maybe, and go with moderate intensity, and in a shirt look better than 95% of this board. Genetics=everything.

Yep. I trained with him once in Venice. Then sit outside and talked while he smoked a cig a interesting individual. Very strange he died early like 49 I think his brother Ray died the next day.

i keep a steadily pace per day and am my own boss i average about 5 hours a day sometimes four sometimes 6 i do this 7 days a week, i would be miserable if i had to work more than id already do, id probably have to take an extra 1-2 pyramid shits per day if i had to work more hours 7 days a week, then my life would kinda suck it would be just working eating and pyramid shitting

we have a chick at my firm who decided to skip work one afternoon and go watch a movie by herself. she went to watch vanilla sky and some dude proceeded to sit next to her and whack off.  she must be very polite or she must have been impressed,  because she did not attempt to leave during his performance (she said she was traumatized, but she could have run is my thought).  this happened in new york - she was working in our manhattan office, but i think she was living in the bronx, so maybe it happened there.

I've never believed on real volume training (defined as +10 sets per body part), but I've tried several variations of HIT and derivatives. On paper it's a thoughtful method, but within a few weeks it's a disaster for your joints & CNS, so -cliche, cliche- I took the middle way (2-4 sets for small body parts & 6-8 for large ones). Since of few months I do a push-pull split (again), IMO excellent for recovery, but within a few weeks I'll start another HST cycle, even better for recovery since it's a based on a periodisation protocol (very low volume, high frequency, light-moderate-heavy weights).

So, how about you, are you a true Jones/Mentzer disciple?

what you described is basically labada's method/protocol

my whole thing is that PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD is the end all be all of muscle size increases, without it you won't get bigger muscles IMO

personally low volume high intensity high frequency works best for me

i've never seen anyone get bigger muscles without lifting greater training loads, and i've seen alot of fellas get bigger, on roids and natural

have you honestly ever seen someone get bigger without getting stronger?

Which described method do you mean with Labada's one?

100% correct about the progressive part. In order to make a muscle grow, it needs to get stronger. But that being said, there are multiple ways to put this into practise and increasing your load is just one of them. Anyway, PO is a main ingredient of HST. It's a very systematic & rational form of training. On the long run, it feels much better to vary the load from training to training; for the joints, CNS & DOMs.

Yep. You got to get stronger to get bigger ok if can bench 100 lbs or 300 will you be bigger at 300?
