I used to be able to throw an official NFL ball about 60 yards, now maybe 35 or 40yrd lol

I think lifting weights kinda killed my rotated cup

Kills rotator cuff's as well...

lets just boil it down to the two quarterbacks. untill yesterday alex smith was the best rated passer in the league this season. then he throws three picks (almost 4) and almost everytime he threw the ball he was a few yards off target.  on the other hand eli came out and was on point, focused, putting the ball exactly where it ought to go (besides those the two times rodgers almost had a pick).

alex smith plays like his usual self and doesnt throw any picks(and scored on two of those drives instead), thats a 28 point swing and quickly shifts the score in favor of frisco.

Shoulda, coulda, wouda ;)...Gmen changed and came up with new coverages Smith hadn't seen from them before.

...and it worked.

No it's not that hard.  happens all the time in division games.  Fast is the Giants got outcoached and outplayed.  With Alex Smith as QB they will never win a SB unless somehow Gore runs for 2 bills and the defense plays out of its mind.

The Giants passed all first half, the niners made adjustments to stop the pass and the Giants flipped it on them and ran all second half.  Genius game by the old fart coach.  I hate the giants but when they are on they are the best team, but they play a lot of undisciplined games as well during the season

its hard to beat the same GOOD team twice. i guess i should have made that clear. it happens sometimes, but more often than not two good teams will split the decision if they face off twice in the same season.

as for yesterday. yeah, giants played better.  as for the niners chance of a superbowl.. so long as alex smith can make smart throws and keep it tight, theres not a team in the league that cant be beat.

You're completely discounting the defense. Did Smith just throw pics because he was off, or were the pics due to a well playing defense? You can't just say "Well he threw pics so he must have been off, thats why they lost, his head wasn't in the game." That makes no sense.

no im saying he was off because i watched the game and even on the throws that werent picks he was way off. everytime he threw the ball it was off target. if a catch was made the reciever made a good play on it because smith wasnt putting the ball in the hands he was putting it three feet above your head or a yards ahead or behind... just not throwing the ball well at all.

Yeah. 50plus  is def a good mark for someone with a good solid arm (if acurate) not like 60yards out of bounds lol. As far as pro arms, even some don't hit 50 well. Remember those old ProBowl challanges when the guys who got 60-75 were like the strong armed guys?

As far as today, I believe Jay Cutler has the best natural arm as far as gunsligning goes. I hate the guy but you can't argue he can sling it. But we all know it doesn't matter TOO much..remember Jamarcus Russell??? I saw his proday and he had a cannon arm. Same with Kyle Boller. But if you were a GM would you  take them? lol.

Add Jeff George to that list.  Cannon arm, beautiful ball, just an ok quarterback.

about 90% of the Jets offensive problems would disappear if they could run the ball like they did today every week.

Sanchez can't carry a team on his back, but he's very effective in a fully functional offense

and Sanchez is the better QB

Groink....so true. Sanchez had 18 TOTAL throws sunday....11 for 18 with good results. He is the type of QB who does very well with the 20-25limit on throws..then his mobility comes into play on play action and boots, especially to the weak side he throws well for a weaker armed guy.

I honestly wish they grabbed a good back to go with Greene the past 2years. They grab guys who never pan out well at RB. Even the drunk guys at the draft this year wanted them to grab Lamar Miller from the U, Alfred Morris from FSAtlan and even Robert Turbin from Utah...they pick that fat fuck from Baylor and last year Powell  ???

how about we boil it down to just shut the fuck up, and instead of talking about the game that COULD have been played in your head, we talk about the real one..... the niners got hammered

What happened, hapeened...."if" this and "if" that ...."IF" my grandmother had balls, she would be my Grandfather  ::)
