What standard deviation are you talking about? If it's 15, then about 0.2% of population has IQ above this level. This means it is not very likely you meet one.
Again, IQ is based on a assumption that "intelligence" meant as "ability to think" creates some linear order. This is not the case, in my opinion.
Take points in two dimensional space. Let's say point (x,y) is bigger than (z,w) if both x>z and y>w. Then (0,0) is clearly smaller than (1,1). But what about (0,1) and (1,0)?
I think intelligence is multi dimensional.
