At this point no jobs are being axed in the U.S.
These Jeeps are going to be produced in China/Russia for local consumption.
At this point Romney is wrong. He had some of the facts correct but those China/Russia plants aren't being built at cost to U.S. Chrysler jobs.
If Chrysler moved production from the U.S. to China/Russia at a cost to U.S. jobs then he would have been totally correct.
so then 333 and Coach/Mr. Intenseone/JoeLoco must be wrong too I'm beginning to see a pattern here

funny how the lower your iq the more likely you are to be a repub. Coach is beyond stupid, I mean romney's jeep comment was selected by politifact as lie of the year, yet Romney was right? LMAO! Jeep increased production and added jobs shortly after his lie in fact.

Not really. I don't remember Fox News throwing Romney's statement around as fact.

Did you watch the video? It was a discussion with a guest who repeated the Bloomberg report from October, raised some concerns but ultimately stated that those were for local manufacturing.

Good point. Shirtless photos and suppression of human rights. Sounds like something 33 could support.

As I said before,Romney was "sort of right," production is beginning in Italy and China....Romney was right about that, but it isn't at a cost to U.S. production as these Jeeps will be produced for local production. Every manufacturer does this as it makes the most sense.
If those Chinese/Italian Jeeps start to be exported to North America, well, Romney will have the last laugh but at this time those Jeeps are for local consumption.

he wasn't sort of right, Am I sorta right when I state water boils at 1 degree? He stated jeep was moving ALL production to china, nothing about that statement is true. the only thing he got right was that jeep would produce in china just like I got the point right about water being able to boil. It was a lie.

It was a lie.
The location of production was correct, hence the "sort of right." Intent of production was totally wrong.

I don;t count things like that when talking about concrete objective truth, there is only one truth and he didn't say it.

The Jeep Plant Mitt Romney Said Was Moving To China Is Booming In Ohio
Source: TPM
Igor Bobic
The auto plant at center of a misleading TV ad run by Mitt Romney's campaign during the 2012 presidential election is booming, Bloomberg reported Friday.
In a last-ditch effort to swing Ohio into the Republican column in the waning days of the campaign, Romney's team aired an ad that gave the impression that Chrysler would ship jobs to China because of President Obama's auto rescue.
"Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy and sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build Jeeps in China," the ad's narrator claimed.
Not only is the factory in question still in Ohio, demand for Jeeps is so great that Chrysler is planning on hiring up to 1,000 part-time workers as a way to alleviate pressure on regular employees who work 60 hours per week.
