I think she's the best looking woman ever to get to Hollywood. You could make arguments for Grace Kelly or Merle Oberon being more 'perfect' but Audrey had something that Hollywood couldn't manufacture or capture. I always wondered whether it had something to do with her wartime experiences. Can't get any better, for me.

Isn't it amazing how many different ideas of beauty there are?

My mother was an attractive athletic looking, natural blond young woman in her late teens when she briefly lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL and worked as an off season lifeguard. One day Harold Minsky, of Minsky's burlesque approached her about working for him in the show. She couldn't imagine why he was interested in her since she was relatively flat chested. He told her that his show included all types of women in order to appeal to the varying tastes of men. My mom told me she declined. Even as wild and crazy as she was, she wasn't about to parade around in her skivvy's on stage.
