Yes. My secretary told me her daughter was voting this morning, and that people were hooting and hollering in line, saying " vote for Obama and get a free phone". I assume she doesn't live in the best area. Either way, these are the folks that are deciding your future.

It's the underachiever's mentality.  The underachiever will go out of his or her way to "not work".  After all, why would they want to work for a living, when they can circumvent the system, and get shit for free.

I have never applied for nor received public assistance, I paid considerable $$$$ into SSI and Medicare as well as investing for my eventual retirement. I don't work now, I volunteer because I don't need the money. So now tell me again about why a vote for Obama = sit on your ass all day and get shit for free?

Not quite the 50's wasn't eligible to vote until 1965. Back in the day, you had to be 21 years old to vote. Incidentally, my parents frequently crossed party lines when they voted sometimes voting for the Democratic candidate and sometimes the Republican one. They voted for Richard Nixon. -Tell's you what a rebel I was/am.
