There's probably no President in any other country that would have wished for Romney to win as much as Benjamin Netanyahu and there are very good reasons for that.

A) Both Romney and Netanyahu are business partners and worked in the same company before
B) Romney would have support Netanyahu with anything and everything were Netanyahu knows that he will have a much harder time with Obama now.

in the past few month Obama had to take all the shit from Netanyahu because he needs to keep the American Jewish lobby happy before election, now in his last 4 years what has he to loose?
I guarantee you Obama will settle some scores with Israel now, the chance that Obama will drag the US into another war with Iran are zero to none, so this is going to get very interesting indeed.

Netanyahu will have the political clout to ignore Obama, IMO.

Either way, that whole area with israelites and palestinians should be bombed to the ground.

No more Gaza-strip.

No 100% - he CANNOT ignore America, doing so would mean political suicide in Israel.

Great post Stark.  100% True. Even through we pay child support to Israel, Obama's administration has not been as much of push overs as other presidents have been for Israel in the past.

This next four years will be very interesting (assuming December 21st, nothing happens).

Hahaha...If Netenyahu "ignored" the president, he would sign his country's political death warrant.

Lets hope not, with the current leadership it would mean a disaster in that middle east, and guess who's going to have to "clean" up the mess.

Sheldon Aldelson (Jew) gave Romney hundreds of millions to his campaign and pretty much paid for all of his commercials and publicaly stated he wanted a war with Iran.  That was his sole reason.

This is a guy who made more money than any other American during Obama's 4 years.  A cool $25 billion, yet he hates Obama  Roll Eyes

I honest to god believe Israel could be dumb enough to attack Iran fooled into believing they can quick bomb the country into submission, this will NOT work and I can only shudder at the outcome - something is going to happen soon, nothing todo with 21th December tho Grin but

Netanyahu has to act at some stage, Israel can not afford an atomic Iran and a lot of people don't understand why. The reasons are not that 1 nuke can wipe out Israel they have nothing to fear from Iran since they know that Iran is not suicidal, Iran knows that if they ever nuke Israel they get wipped of this planet - even the remote chance that Iran is giving terrorists an abomb its very unlikely they do that since the makeup of the actual bomb plus the uranium etc can all be traced back to Iran.

No the reasons for Israel not being able to afford an atomic Iran is much simpler and can be described in 2 simple words.

Power balance.

Philip Zimbargo once made a great explanation: Its the same thing as if you are going for lunch with your rich uncle and you are student, its polite for you to suggest that you pay the bill even if both know that the bill will be paid by the uncle, now lets assume that the uncle all of a sudden says - Yes okay you can pay the bill - the balance is off right there.
Same happened when the russians invaded Georgia, Europe US and Russia had an unspoken agreement, Russia can pretend to be a military world power but is not allowed to act, all of a sudden they do act and all the cards are off the table and anything can happen, its makes people very nervous, are they going to move further, will they attack Nato troops next? A lot of uncertainty.

Same with an nuclear iran, it changes the power balance in the region, Israel is not the only country that has atomic weapons, were do you go next? How to you handle that, how do you negotiate?

I loved when President Obama got caught talking shit about him with the French and I believe it was the Italian Presidents or Prime Ministers...
If that guy wanted peace, there'd be peace. But this scumbag and prior scumbags in his position, want to take, take, take from the people that were there and vilify them and torture them and basically enact genocide right before our eyes.

The filthy hand of the U.S.supports this by supporting Israel in the way they do.  This has been going on  entirely too long and Israel uses this as political capital.

Its sometimes hard to imagine things in the future - can you imagine the middle east to be oasis of the world? and Europe and America to be poor house of this planet?
You probably can not....

But then I remember clearly a time when I though there is no fucking way in hell that the IRA will stand down that there will be peace in n.Ireland - but look at it now, a war that has gone on for 100 of years and its peace now.

The same can happen anywhere - BUT ONLY if meaningful negotiations happen.

And in regards to N.Ireland that credit goes to the brits, they actually started to REALLY talk to the IRA - and not just to satisfy a political agenda but to actualy seek peace, and it was painful for them but the outcome can not be disputed.

If Israel would step over their own shadow and seriously reach out to the Palestinians and the rest of the world - This place would be heaven.
