I'm a huge Patriots fan...But I believe the first half of that 49er's game is what the Patriots would face for a full game if they play each other in the Super Bowl. The 49'ers came out in a prevent type defense after the half and basically let the Patriots score some points with a retarded Bill B. type "bend don't break" defense. When the Pats tied them, 49er's upped their defense and played man and it was over. That first half defense by the 49'ers was fcking legit.

You're completely discounting the effect the weather had. There was like 10 fucking fumbles in the 1st quarter.

i went 2-2....but would have been 4-0 if two teams that had games WON with seconds left, didn't inexpicably give the fucking game away, like literally.

i don't think there was anything really inexplicable about the ending of the hawks game. carroll tried to rattle the kicker, backfired big time. the whole first half was a bit ridiculous though. hawks marched down the field almost every drive for the entire game, and somehow ended up with no points more often than not.

Wrong on that one Holmes. Brady has had to bail out/outscore most of his opponents for most of the last 6 years. Brady led his team to 4th quarter leads in both the '07 and '11 superbowls. Brady can't play defense.
