agree.  Why take a knee, but why pass?  Freeman started the drive with a massive run.  Once they got to the 20 they needed to be in clock killing mode.  Their defense was tired and just allowed 19 straight points.  At that point run, run, run. If they got a first they could have run it down to 2:00, then they could have given No under a minute to score twice. Still be aggressive with the run but kill the clock and either setup a short field goal or hope to get close enough to the endzone for a TD.  But passing and getting sacked and a penalty to make it 3 and 33 was retarded.

Once they get to the 22 yard line, and have the best FG kicker in the league kicking in a dome, you don't risk falling out of FG range.  If you don't like the knee scenario, 3 running plays then.  They had a 96.6 win prob at that point, pre field goal.

Doesn't the best QB have to be the best player? He handles the ball about 3 times as much as the next player.

Also, if we're using the Superbowl win to solidify his #1 standing, would he not be thought of as the best had they lost in overtime? ...what if Amendola was stopped short on the 2 point conversion?

What about a guy like Deon Sanders?  Not saying he's the greatest player of all time, but he played both sides of the ball and was elite both ways.  Just food for thought.

I don't think Brady could run 100 yards without getting winded but yes, he can stand back there and hit targets like no ones business.  The guy has gone through about 6 OCs yet still keeps on ticking.  How many Wideouts have come and gone and he still keeps going.  Crazy seeing how often his lineup changes and still is able to play consistently.  Those that think Gronk is amazing have to realize who's throwing to him because without him their offense doesn't skip a beat.
