In the Batman movie they only used the name "Bane" but they invented a new character that had nothing to do with the comic book Bane.In the Comicbooks this is Bane:

I hardly remember Bane even being in the Joel Schumacher Batman. I don't think he did much.
I thought the movie was pretty good all the way up to the last 30 minutes or so. It almost seemed as if they forced their hand in trying to finish the movie as quickly as possible and the result provided for a lackluster ending.Furthermore, I felt that the movie suffered tremendously from the tragedy in Colorado. The backlash forced viewers to subconsciously associate the tragedy with the movie in a manner that kept people away from the theaters for quite some time. "1"
Yeah I've said before they should of made it two movies in split release there was more than enough material for it.I'm also pretty sure, bob kane's people shit themselves when nolan tried to kill batman, hence the awful sitting in a cafe in europe subplot.
I dont ever recall "bane" as a villain in batman..
I was thoroughly engaged by the whole thing - plot fuckups and everything. I'm wondering though how it'll stand up to repeat viewings. I'm pretty sure I could rewatch Avengers with as much enjoyment as the first time I saw it, because it doesn't take itself too seriously. DKR - I'm not so sure.

A lot of Jason Statham movies are like that "Transporter 2, etc"They'll have some sick fight scenes, glossy effects, really amazing fight scene, chases, etc... Then the last half hour is messy and barely scripted and way less quality. Almost as if they run outta money toward the end and rush things.
You realize that Bane in the comics was also extremely intelligent, correct?
I've watched it 3 times in theater, and about 5-6 times at home. It's still pretty good for the most part I still like it more than the other two. Not that they weren't pretty good.
