My wife and I once talked about a similar situation which we had seen on a TV show and I straight up told her, thats Grounds for divorce in my opinion!!!!

Either way sounds like your coworker is not in that healthy of a relationship if she has to hide shit like that from her husband or is too pussy to bring it up to him.
