no comparison here, led zeppelin by a land slide

serious, theyve been offered more than anyone to do one tour robert blant was offered 300 million just to do a reunion tour.

they concert they did in the o2 arena -20 million people tried to get tickets for that show.

rush will never ever, come close to that .

both great bands.......  having played bass for thirty years..... i'll go with Rush on the pure musicianship part of things..... Led Zep are no slouches .... great voice, guitar, bass and drums........ listened to both forever..... two different styles..... different fan base..... both a 10 on their respective scales....... my opinion.... I like the creativity both bass-wise, guitar-wise, drum-wise and lyric-wise.... so I've got no choice but to throw Rush my vote.......

Rush gets props for being a trio, but Led Zep is better. Also, a lot of people are saying they're totally different sounds and times. But, if you listen to Led I-IV, it has some of that "mystical" theme that Rush has. Kind of like a dungeons and dragons fan would dig the actual lyrics.

rush and yes sound alike......very similar.......led zeppelin had a completely different sound......both bands kicked ass!!!! both 10s in my book.

If you entirely discount vocals, maybe you could make a case for Rush...
