yeah, absoute toothpick like legs
Anyone can sprint a mile try running the half marathon under 70mins now that is an effort.
I ran a mile race this past June at 7:17, it had two hills in it, one at the very end that wanted me to die. I figure for a flat course the high 6`s would be attainable, fast enough for me. Ran so hard I could taste blood in my lungs.
Define "fitness"
The quality of being in shape is one that benefits health. Such health qualities as a lower resting heart rate that shows your heart muscle is efficient at pumping blood. This is improved through both aerobic and anaerobic training. Since heart attacks is the number one killer of man this is an important attribute. Also changing the ratios of HDL to LDl's again through training. Lowering blood sugar and blood pressure through cardio is another measure of fitness. Triglycerides or blood fats also improve through aerobic training. So fitness can be defined as the ability to endure. Life is an endurance race not a sprint ultimately. Fitness can also be exchanged with the word conditioning. If you have ever boxed or wrestled you would know that having endurance is an important quality to use the slang to avoid gassing. Having fitness isn't a bench press number. Some of the softest punching guys are bench pressers that can bench press a truck. Fitness involves more than strength. It involves strength, power, endurance, anaerobic capacity, and aerobic capacity. Just trying to make an athlete stronger is a mistake. Power is the quality of how fast you can release strength. It's more important that limit strength. That's why almost every guy that can clean and jerk 315lbs can dunk and sprint and many so called power lifters can't reach the net.
