Playoff wise i think they will crumble immediately, I really think Dwight is a pure loser. so kobe is in a passing mode as of late but when his teammates miss shot he will go solo and his going back to his old self. Dont forget Howard cannot shoot, Gasol is soft and kobe will go back to his old ways. i predict injuries will comeback and destroy them. you still have dallas coming strong and houston and portland going for the 8th spot. I wouldnt think about it till after the allstar break, thats when you can tell, the lakers have a easy 8 game schedule ahead.

they can still slink into the pllayoffs. it makes for much better theater if they do. Seeing them win 1 game in that first series against Thunder...
ya KNOW the NBA wants that matchup over some scrub team with nobodies.
Nobody wants to see Thunder play portland lol... at least with the rockets, you get the James Harden storyline. WTF is Portland? haha

funny how the lakers are winning when kobe passes the ball and stops shooting those ridiculous 3-point shots from the right corner of the court over and over and over again

i also realize the NBA is a fixed ass league. They'd LOVE to have kobe vs durant in round 1, and just a few calls in a few games can make that happen. Refs can swallow their whistle while lakers maul players, then blow a whistle every time someone sneezes on kobe. They did it for MJ.

Dallas and Portland can stop the lakers easily. Houston should maintain the 8th position but if they start losing then the lakers will sneak in.
