Phil had the best talent but none of them won shit until they played for him. His philosophy and direction allowed them to make the most out of their talent and forced them to be unselfish. 11 rings. I don't think you can argue with that kind of success.

Pop is an amazing coach too, I love what he has done in San Antonio.

Larry Brown I'm not such a fan of. He seems to have a very short shelf life wherever he goes.

Well Phil had great assistant coachs, like most of their strategies were from Tex. Not saying he's not one of best, but when you had Jordan and a prime Shaq not that hard lol and he had Kobe as well. Just wonder how he would do with an average team? Really show how great of a coach he is...Larry Brown won everywhere...and every level. The guy has a great basketball mind. And Pop is a great coach....he doesn't get the credit he deserves. Every year his teams are contending and he turns young players straight off the draft into good players. Phil just came into good situations. My opinion...

I didn't think much of Phil for a while. After he took over in LA I got more exposure to him. It took a while but I grew to really appreciate him and his method. It's funny now because as much as they butted heads early on Kobe is like Phil Jackson Jr now in his approach to the game. He has little kids running the triangle offense at his basketball camp. lol.

pop is ugly, pjax was better looking. As simple as that. Also spurs are nice and all but what about they stop having perfect seasons then play like they forgot everything in the playoffs before getting raped.
