I've been told over and over again when I worked in the zoo to watch the "small cats" they are vicious fighters and give zero fucks! The honeybadgers of the cat family has to be the leopard.

Leopards are part of the Big Cat family---as they have the ability to roar, but some "small cats" are bigger than Leopards--namely the cougar, aka puma, aka panther, aka painter.

That being said, Big Game hunters of the 19th and 20th centuries often considered the leopard one of the most dangerous animals in Africa. Due to its smaller size, and it's ability to climb,  it's more agile and can inflict a lot of damage.

Cougars and leopards are about the same size. Leopards are crazy aggressive and cougars are not. Remember when a couple of joggers in northern California were killed by cougars?
