I think that the oustings of Suckmymuscle and pumpster were two of the biggest steps in restoring some of the integrity that had been lacking on this site's two most serious boards.

JPM posts some of the best training advice on this board. I remember the days of pumpster trying to turn this place into a dictatorship with his hate filled arguments and PM's. I still have a bunch of hate filled meltdown PM's from pumpster years ago. All i did was debate some training with him and he would go nuts because he thought he knew everything. Now we see how that turned out for him and SMM?  JPM is good people, i read almost all of his posts no matter how long they are.  |

Pumpster was a horrible moderator. He would argue with qualified veteran posters here; guys like Donny, Wes, and JPM, who had years of experience and know their shit. He modified and deleted posts he didn't like - particularly ones that proved him wrong. He also often called people names and was just very childish. I know that several good posters stopped participating here because of him, just like they did because of Suckmymuscle on the Nutrition board. I don't think you were around for it, and I forget exactly what happened, but somebody got ahold of some pictures of him via an image-hosting site like Photobucket, and posted them all over Getbig. Pumpster immediately lost any credibility he had because it was apparent that he did not engage in anykind of fitness lifestyle. He melted hard, claiming that he was inside everyone's heads. He then completely disappeared a short time after that. |

I quit posting here because of him editing and deleting 90% of my posts. He was exposed after he had a very "strange" relationship with another guy on this board that involved a microphone. Shortly after, all of his pictures were posted and a massive meltdown happen. It was a very strange ordeal and made me realize that pumpster was actually a very weird and creepy man. |

Most of the time, I think he simply espoused views opposite of what others discussed on here. I think he just got off on being confrontational, putting others down, and "proving" them wrong. There's no doubt in my mind that the guy had a complex. |
