Are you so dumb you thought I meant bringing another man and doing your wife and mother separately?

If not your post makes no sense whatsoever.
He's just teasing Jeff

Par for the course here.
Curious: when you say you do "pec deck 'crunches'," does that mean you're doing anything other than, you know, just using the pec deck? Moreover, what kind of pec deck are you using? The dorky modern sort that emulates a fly motion, or the one where you can put your elbows (or hands) on pads?
The latter are easily superior IMO. I know Dante Trudell catches a ton of shit on here, but he's very fond of the old style pad pec deck for bringing lagging chests up. I'm sure you can find his variation on Youtube; suffice to say, I train quasi-DC style, and I've used that movement in my training. It feels amazing, and it's one of those exercises where you think you're about to hit failure, but if you keep pushing as hard as you can, you'll find a hard 10th rep will yield to an 11th, 12th and, who knows? Maybe 16-18 plus.
I think that's one of the things about the exercise that makes it so effective: after a point, pretty much EVERY rep is a battle, but somehow, you can keep churning them out. That it places such stress on the stretched position AND fully contracted position probably does not hurt.
