No.  Most murders are committed by Religious people.  In this country, the majority of murderers are overwhelmingly Christian.

This Dorner character had a religious education from the start as he went to Private Christians Schools as he stated in his manifesto.  That is something to think about perhaps.  

He is not killing because of religion or lack of one, he is killing because he thinks its the right thing to do (justifying his revenge) and that it will clear his name in the end.
