Some old school adds I remember.
These were from the Mid to late 1970s
Advertising in the 60s and 70s was always interesting.

All the stuff you had and still have got the job done. You would have liked pop's equipment. It was well built and built to last. Had you bought a Zuver's Bench or two you would have a piece that most likley was built by me. Not that that means anything.
I can't help but believe that somewhere, in some old gym, or even packed in the back of someone's home garage gym that there is still Zuver's equipment being used today. They probably don't even know that it was built by Zuver. But out of the thousands of bench press we sold back then there must still be a few still around.
I've been looking and asking around for the last couple of years now if anyone has any pieces from The Zuver Line.  So far I've only located one bench press and a small amount of Zuver's weights. I just don't beleave that everything got scrapped.
So if anyone here on GetBig.Com has or know's anybody that has a bench, rack, weights, dumbbell's  Zuver related please contact me.
Thanks
RZ

some nice pieces there, the best bench i had and still have was one i had custom made in the 70's by a co. called gymbatics it still is in great shape, thanks to some duct tape etc. maybe some of your equipment might turn up at yard sales or the play it again chain. i had it made up with a narrow grip to accomidate both an olympic bar and an ez curl bar plus dipping bars at top.

It for sure looks well used.
A little more duck tape and its good to go for another 20 years.
Funny thing about steel, it just doesn't go bad.

That bench looks familiar. That's the way a home gym should be.
And that's you?

S,
How is Funk Jr.?
he's hanging in there seems to be making improvement, he's down like 80 lbs to 151 but hopefully his strength will come back soon. he's starting comeback number 3 just recently. really  tough year and a half. thanks for asking.
