Nice!  We got a huge dump of snow here in Calgary yesterday, so my BBQ has a foot and a half of snow on it right now, and I'd be lucky if I could even open up the back door of my house to get to it right now.   :(

You regular BBQ'ers, be careful with the utensils you use to clean your grill. I've been seeing reports online and even on my local news about bristles separating from brushes and lodging into food. People have gotten bits of of steel or brass pierced into their gums, etc. Always inspect your grilling grates prior to cooking to ensure they are free from any debris.

Brass-bristled brushes are supposed to be better quality, and less susceptible to "shedding." But, even then, it doesn't hurt to take precautions.

I like to clean my grates with the brush immediately after cooking my food while the grates are nice and hot. Then, before pre-heating he grill the next time, I take a washcloth soaked just with water and wipe down the grates. Finally, I blast them with PAM grill spray.

I do not eat hydrocarbons if I can avoid them. I do buy really expensive grill utensils if that helps anything.

Even the better/expensive brands demonstrated the same problems over time. I have a couple of brass brushes in the basement. I replace the one I use several times during grilling season, and I still routinely wipe down the grates - especially when I have company.

I'm a huge meat lover, you should check out the arab buffet in north york called jerusalem. It's all you can eat. Last time my sister in law invited the whole family I must have eaten easily 10lbs of pure meat. Oh it felt good haha... oh so good. Beef of all sorts, chicken, lamb, fish although i didn't like their fish but man oh man.....

Better weather is coming, definetely need me some bbq'd meat

^Looks very east European diet like. That's why they tend to have heart attacks early haha... and that kind of white processed bread ('home made or not') is death for me. Everyone's different I guess. Brown bread/rice/pasta is good for me

My friend used to hold a pig roast behind his bar every fall. It looked similar to this setup and was amazingly tasty.

Yes!!  Pig Roast is the only way to go!

Only downside is that a_ahmed won't be able to have his way with the animal before hand.
