I don't blame them. What is the gun manufacturer that is threatening the same thing in Colorado?

Remmington Arms may be leaving Ilion, NY.

Why stay in a state so hostile to your product?

It's their company, they can do what they want with it. It's not like they're firing everyone and outsourcing to increase their profits. And besides, how do you know the employees won't be offered to keep their jobs if they're willing to relocate?

True, but you can't expect the company to embrace it, either. If a state is out to hurt my business and profits, I am far less likely to patronize that state by paying taxes there and supporting any part of their economy.

actually it very well could benefit them if they move to a state like Texas that doesnt have a state income tax....

There are alot of benefits to doing business in a business friendly state, only an idiot who has no idea about business thinks otherwise.

Legality, taxes, regulations etc...again only an idiot thinks like you do ::)

oh yea and even if they dont move their employees they will be hiring new ones wherever they go. So they will also be helping the local economy of that state they choose.....

You're an illiterate, uneducated, autistic, jobless idiot.

Colt has no obligation to CT and I'm actually shocked they're still here. They'd actually be better off moving to some place like Texas where their product would be appreciated and they'd like pay lower taxes among other things.

If I was a State Governor,  I'd be getting with these CEOs and trying to make some deals.  They should all relocate to a state like Texas or Ohio.

Why Ohio?

As far as I know Ohio ranks like second or third in the nation for being "second amendment friendly".

Generally, one of the reasons states give companies incentives to relocate is to increase local employment. There may be no net loss of jobs but it's doubtful that will make any lower level employees feel better.

Even though individual employees may not have supported these anti-gun constitution candidates, as a whole these communities have basically brought this on themselves.

This is true. I live in CT and this state is full of self-serving assholes who love to do things like bitch about all the taxes we pay while at the same time continuing to re-elect the assholes who levied all those taxes on them. Bunch of morons here ruled by a democratic party that controls every facet of the state government.
